Please NOTE: Land Rover and Ford shared the same 2.0 liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine:
- Between 2009-2015, Land Rover used Ford's 2.0L "EcoBoost" turbocharged engine in some models like the Range Rover Evoque and Land Rover Discovery Sport. Ford offered this engine in vehicles like the Ford Explorer, Edge, and Focus around the same time. However, in 2015 Land Rover developed their own new 2.0L 4-cylinder gasoline engine called "Ingenium"
- 2009-2015: Land Rover used Ford's own 2.0L EcoBoost engine.
- 2015+: Land Rover introduced their own Ingenium 2.0L engine, no longer sharing with Ford.
